Aluminum material is widely used on aerospace parts in order to reduce the weight of the air plane, on the early stage of the design verification, we use Aluminum 6061 a lot to make the parts to check functionality first so that it can reduce the development cost at that same time. Being compliant to ASM standard, Aluminum 6061 from material supplier Westernsouth or imported from America or Germany can reach such requirement, even products applied in army will use this material. Besides of Aluminum 6061, there is also Al7075, this is higher price but better performance, if for show seats, we will suggest to use this material. For sheet metal parts, we will suggest to use Al5052 as the bending strenght is better than other aluminum material.
KAIAO rapid aluminum machining has provided many parts to clients all over the world including products for Boeing, we believe our CNC machining ability can maintain the best quality for your design parts which are special for aerospace parts such as seats, doors. After machining, we can also do sand blasting to remove the machining marks first, then to apply color finishing such as baking paint, anodized, powder coat.
